ABOUT SCHOOL
De Paul School, Canning, is named after St. Vincent De Paul, one of the pioneers of social reformation. The school had a humble beginning with 56 children and over the years it grew in size and popularity and has the strength of over 2800 students today.
OUR FOUNDER
It has got blissful patronage of very many great saints, scholars, thinkers and philosophers which in itself is a very rate thing as well as as a great divine asset for the institution.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to develop such a national system of education through which such a generation of youth could be produced which is full of patriotism which is physically, vitally mentally, intellectually and spiritually fully developed.
OUR VISION
All round development means five-fold development of the personality i.e. Physical Development, Vital (Pranic) Development, Mental Development, Intellectual Development & Spiritual Development.
INTRODUCTION
De Paul School, Canning, is an educational institute established and managed by the Vincentians fathers of the North Indian Province (N.I.P.) of the Congregation of the Mission (C.M.) under the Articles 29 & 30 of the Constitution of India. The members are Catholic Priests and Brothers belonging to the Congregation of the Mission founded by St. Vincent de Paul in 1625. The congregation runs a network of schools, colleges and universities of its own in different parts of the world.Specific Character
As a Minority Institution, De Paul School is primarily meant to cater to the needs of the Christian community. However, it is open to the students of other communities as well. Being a Christian institute it maintains its Christian atmosphere, identity and character. Therefore, only Christian worship will be conducted in the school campus.School Facilities
